1 bottle of red wine 1 orange 1/2 of a lemon 1 apple
Add the contents of one package of MGM Gluhwein Mulling Spices; simmer for 2-4 hours in a crockpot on low, or 20-30 minutes on the stove on low.
When finished, add 2T of Cointreau then sweeten to taste with honey.
Recommended wines to use with this mulling blend: Zinfandel, Merlot, or Syrah/Shiraz. Avoid oaky wines and wines high in tannins. Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec can also be used, but may come across a bit stronger in the finished product.
